ABOUT

ABOUT

Regan Elis is an 18-year-old, bilingual entertainment journalist from Wales, UK, who has conducted over 120 interviews with notable figures in the film and music industries. He runs two YouTube channels, where he conducts interviews both virtually and in person, amassing over 600,000 online views. As a reporter, Regan has been invited to cover several events across Europe, from London to Austria, and has collaborated with several companies and organisations. He was also one of five Welsh students chosen to attend the University of Florida’s Summer Media Institute in 2025, and covered the 2026 UK premiere of the movie My Bigfoot Life. He currently works as a trainee news reporter for Golwg360.

Beginning his journey in 2020 at the age of 12, Regan decided to pursue the career of journalism after spending countless hours watching celebrity interviews in his spare time. Aspiring to one day interview the movie stars he had watched on the big screen, Regan launched two YouTube channels, where he conducted Zoom video call interviews with a variety of guests. Inspired by journalists such as Ali Plumb, Kevin McCarthy and Joshua Horowitz, Regan worked to develop his own journalistic style – a mix of fun, light-hearted questions and thought-provoking, reflective questions tailored to provoke insightful answers. His primary goal is to connect and build rapport with his guests, resulting in interviews filled with laughter and genuine moments of enjoyment.

Now 18 years old, Regan has been invited to report on numerous events and has collaborated with several companies and organisations. His ultimate dream is to attend a major film premiere and conduct interviews at a press junket, either online or in-person.
